How to sew5 steps
  1. Cut and markCut every piece with the grain arrow parallel to the selvedge. Transfer the notches and the marks with tailor's chalk or a short snip into the seam allowance.
  2. Set up for stretchUse a ballpoint or stretch needle and a narrow zigzag or the stretch stitch, or an overlocker. Seams in knit must stretch with the fabric.
  3. StrapsMake the straps, baste them in place and finish the top edge with a facing or binding.
  4. Side seamsSew the side seams, matching the notches. Press open.
  5. HemTurn up and stitch the hems with a twin needle or a coverstitch.
