    How to sew6 steps
    1. Cut and markCut every piece with the grain arrow parallel to the selvedge. Transfer the notches, the dart points and the marks with tailor's chalk or a short snip into the seam allowance.
    2. DartsSew each dart from the wide end to the point, the last stitches right on the fold. Tie the threads at the point, do not backstitch. Press waist darts towards the centre, bust darts downwards.
    3. ShouldersSew the shoulder seams, the back eased onto the front. Press open.
    4. NecklineFinish the neckline with a facing or bias binding.
    5. Side seamsSew the side seams, matching the notches. Press open.
    6. HemTurn up the hem twice and stitch, or catch it by hand.
